Ananya Sritam Nanda was born in Odisha and spent most of her childhood in Bhubaneswar. Raised in a supportive family environment, she discovered her love for music at a very young age.

Her father, Prasanna Kumar Nanda, serves as a director in a government industrial department, while her mother, Prasanti Mishra, is a homemaker. Ananya has often spoken about the encouragement she received from her family, especially her elder sister, Amrita Pritam Nanda.

Ananya's musical foundation was built through formal training in Hindustani Classical Music. She trained under renowned gurus Pandit Dr. Chitta Ranjan Pani and Guru Nilamani Ojha.

Ananya completed her schooling at DAV Public School, Pokhariput, Bhubaneswar. She later attended KIIT International School, where she excelled academically and emerged as one of the top-performing students.

After moving to Mumbai to pursue her musical ambitions, she continued her education and earned a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and Media Studies from Bhavan's College.
