Mantu Churia is a famous singer from Odisha who mostly sings in the Sambalpuri language. He started singing at an early age and very quickly reached the pinnacle of success. The original name of Mantu Churia is Jasketan Chhuria. He later changed his name to Mantu Chhuria as his stage name. He was born on 7th August 1997, in Salat village near Rengali in Sambalpur district. His father's name is Judhistir Chhuria and his mother's name is Sobhagini Chhuria. His grandfather's name is Ram Prasad Chhuria. He has two brothers named Rajinikanth Churia and Pintu Churia.
Mantu did his schooling in Kendriya Vidya Sambalpur. Then he completed his Study at Gangadhar Meher (GM) College. Later he completed a diploma in sound engineering in Biju Pattanaik Film & TV. Institute of Orissa (BPFTIO). When he was studying in Kendriya Vidyalaya, he learned music from Gyana Ranjan Mohapatra. He used to sing in Kirtan held in the village, Khirod Nayak and Bapi Singh saw him there and were impressed by his singing. Later he gave Mantu the opportunity to sing the beautiful song Bihu. That song helped a lot in bringing Mantu Churia's talent in front of the people. Then he comes up with a lot of hit songs and enthralls the Sambalpuri music industry.
He has also sung many hit songs in the Odia language. He has given many hit songs like Lal Gulabi, To Galara Kala Jaai, Rajithare Heija, etc. in the Odia language. He is the only singer in the Sambalpuri industry after Umakant Barik who has sung for the Odia film. The song name is "Pyaar Kuncham Kuncham" from the movie Golmal Love.
