Nil Sagar is an Indian singer who mostly sings for Sambalpuri music. He is famous for his romantic Sambalpuri songs. He is one of the Highest-Paid singers of the Sambalpuri Music Industry. His success ratio is more than any other singer in Odisha. This is the reason why has a cult fan following in Odisha. Nil Sagar was born on 18th October 1997 in Badmal village of Sambalpur district, Odisha. His full name is Neelkanth Bhabasagar. His family consists of a mother, father, two sisters, one brother, and one grandmother. His father's name is Dinbandhu Bhabasagar and mother's name is Dhanmati Bhabasagar. He has completed his schooling in Srilal High School Subarnapur. He completed his college studies at Maa Jhadeshwari college from Dama. Now he is studying sound engineering.
At the time of +2 studies, Nil Sagar used to sing songs in college functions. At that time he loved to sing Bollywood songs. But he liked singing Bollywood songs, he did not like to sing Sambalpuri songs. But destiny had a different plan.
Once Neil was singing in the bathroom and his friend Rinku heard him singing and suggested him to try in the Sambalpuri music industry. And then Neil's music career started from here. Rinku introduced him to Rajib Gond, the owner of Riyanshi Music YouTube channel. There Rajiv asks him to sing a song and Neil starts singing Mantu Chhuria's song "Deewana Deewana". Hearing that song, Rajiv praised him a lot and gave him a chance to sing. The name of that song is "Deewana Dil Dhadku Chhe". But he did not get that much fame from this song. Then later he sang the song "Baby Toor Thumka" with Rojalin Sahu and that song made him popular overnight.
Nil Sagar considers Raji Gond as his god because if he had not given him to sing that day he would not have been that famous. And the audience should also thank Rajiv for bringing forth a talent like Nil Sagar. Nil Sagar also considers Radhe as his guru. Due to Radhe's music, many of his songs have become super hit.
